Looks like we’re losing the War Against Cancer. A study by researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital looked at 14 types of cancers and what they found is alarming. Early onset cancer is on the rise — and improvements in cancer screening do not fully account for the increase. According to one of the researchers: “We found that this risk is increasing with each generation.”

Why? Clues suggest that diet, lifestyle, weight, environmental exposures, and microbiome, are involved — all the things we here at The Templeton Wellness Foundation talk about.

Interestingly, according to Tomotaka Ugai of Harvard Medical School, “Among the 14 cancer types on the rise that we studied, eight were related to the digestive system.”
