Do You Know the Signs of Breast Cancer?

I’ve seen what happens when cancer sneaks up on you—and I’ve also seen what happens when people take charge and catch it early.

That can make all the difference in the world.

As a 40-year Stage 4 melanoma cancer survivor, I’ve made it my mission to help folks recognize the warning signs before it’s too late.

I recently sat down with a remarkable breast cancer survivor who stood her ground from day one. Her journey is full of grit, faith, and unshakable hope. Listen as this mother of seven tells her remarkable story of a cancer diagnosis that came from “out of the blue”.

Breast cancer doesn’t always come with pain. In fact, a lot of people don’t feel a thing until the cancer’s already done some damage. So you’ve got to be alert. Look for changes—a lump or thickening in the breast, skin that dimples or looks red and irritated, fluid coming from the nipple, or even a change in shape or feel. These signs may seem small, but they’re your body’s way of waving a red flag.

Don’t brush it off. Don’t wait. Most lumps aren’t cancer, but if it is, catching it early—before it spreads to the lymph nodes or further—is your best shot at beating it.
