About this Episode:

Less than 40 percent were not odds that Tom Fisher liked to see. Yet, that’s what he faced as he lay bed-bound after his chemotherapy treatment for Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The medicine compromised his immune system so badly he needed to be hospitalized. Tom was sicker than he had ever been with only a 40 percent chance of surviving the next five years.

With advanced stage cancer and after 6 months of chemo, Tom decided to explore holistic options. It landed him in West Palm Beach, FL at the Hippocrates Health Institute. There, he adopted a raw diet and targeted supplementation overseen by the staff. Tom is now 18 years cancer free and working as a nurse supervisor teaching others the health practices that he believes saved his life.
