An article published in Yale Medicine admits that some patients may not need to undergo chemotherapy treatments. In fact, they say, “some patients may ultimately do better on other therapies.”

Eric Winer, MD, Oncologist and Director of the Yale Cancer Center and physician-in-chief of the Smilow Cancer Network, says (regarding breast cancer patients), “We now have clinical trial results showing that many women don’t need to do all of this very toxic therapy.”
