Do you know what’s in your water? Real Water, a bottled water brand marketed as “infused with negative ions” and “the healthiest drinking water available,” is at the heart of a lawsuit just adjudicated in Nevada in which the plaintiffs were awarded $228.5 million in damages. Apparently, the bottled water was contaminated with hydrazine, a chemical used in rocket fuel, which contributed to severe liver damage, and even death.
The alkaline water brand (sold on Amazon and across multiple states) has faced a slew of lawsuits for its contaminated water.
