The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting a study to investigate potential links between overseas military service and three types of cancer. The study aims to examine whether there is a connection between veterans’ deployments and the development of glioblastoma, neuroendocrine tumors, and multiple myeloma. The investigation comes as part of ongoing efforts to better understand the health impacts of military service and provide support to affected veterans.
