The odds of finding a health insurance that covers cancer treatment costs is a bit like playing roulette — especially if you’re depending upon governmental insurance such as Medicaid. “If you’re lucky [lucky?] to be diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer, you’re good,” said Dr. Fumiko Chino, a radiation oncologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, who studies cancer treatment access and affordability. “But otherwise, you may have some significant obstacles.”
