With a family history of cancer and after a long history of ovarian cysts, Krista Stewart was not surprised when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. After surgery to remove the cysts, chemotherapy was recommended. But on the first day of her recommended treatment, she learned it would be unavoidably delayed. She had been interested in seeing if there were alternative natural approaches, and took that delay as an opportunity to explore her options.
