The science is finally in!
Studies are finally confirming what we in the alternative healing world have known for decades: certain parasites are directly linked to cancer. Liver flukes, for instance, are associated with bile duct cancer. Blood flukes have been tied to bladder cancer. And it’s not just “tropical” parasites—many worms and microscopic critters that live in your gut or tissues create the kind of chronic inflammation that allows cancer to thrive.
Cancer loves a toxic, inflamed environment. And parasites are pros at creating one.
It’s funny how what used to get you laughed out of a room is now front-page news. I’ve been talking about the link between parasites and cancer for over forty years—long before it was trendy, and long before there were fancy studies to back it up.
Back when I was healing from Stage 4 melanoma and diving headfirst into alternative therapies, I learned one undeniable truth: if you’ve got cancer, you’ve probably got parasites, too. That was old-school wisdom from some of the greatest natural healers of our time. (You can read about it in Chapter 6 of my book, I Used to Have Cancer. And guess what? They were right.
Now modern science is finally catching up.
The Parasite-Cancer Connection Doctors Rarely Talk About

Parasites: The Hidden Invaders You Probably Don’t Know You Have
We tend to think of parasites as something that only affects people in third-world countries, or folks who drink dirty water on vacation. But let me tell you—parasites don’t care what zip code you live in. I’ve known people living in clean, suburban neighborhoods, eating organic food, doing everything “right”—and they’re still loaded with these invaders.
Parasites can get in through contaminated food, water, even your pets. And once they’re in, they don’t just hang out quietly. They feed off your nutrients, clog up your detox pathways, release toxic waste—and worst of all, they weaken your immune system.
And when your immune system’s distracted dealing with a parasitic mess, guess what gets a free pass? That’s right—cancer.
What Can You Do?
I believe cleansing the body of parasites should be one of the first steps for anyone dealing with cancer—or trying to prevent it. Over the years, I’ve personally done dozens of parasite cleanses, and I still do them as part of my regular health routine. There’s a reason I have survived stage 4 cancer for 40 years (and counting). I credit routine parasite-cleansing practices as one of the key reasons I’m still alive.
It doesn’t have to be complicated. There are herbs like black walnut, wormwood, and clove that can help. There are also powerful protocols out there using supplements, fasting, and even anti- parasitic medications like Fenbendazole and Mebendazole (which, by the way, some cancer survivors are now turning to).
But it starts with awareness. You’ve got to understand that parasites aren’t just a digestive issue. They’re a whole-body issue. And in my opinion, they’re one of the most overlooked pieces of the cancer puzzle.
Final Thoughts
Look, this isn’t new to me. But I know it’s new to a lot of people out there who are just now waking up to the idea that cancer isn’t just “bad luck” or bad genes. There are real, tangible, biological factors—like parasites—that play a role.
And the sooner we start addressing the root causes, the better our chances of not just surviving—but thriving.
If I could beat Stage 4 melanoma, one of the deadliest forms of cancer, you can take control of your health, too. Don’t be afraid to look deeper and explore alternative options. You never know what’s lurking beneath the surface—or how much better life gets when you finally clear these parasitic invaders out of your body.
