As we reflect on the past year at the Templeton Wellness Foundation, one thing stands out clearly: people are searching for deeper answers—and real hope.
In the past year, our most-read blogs and most-watched interviews shared a common thread. They challenged conventional thinking, explored emerging science, and amplified voices reminding us that healing is not one-size-fits-all.
From survivor stories that inspired thousands to listen to some of the world’s foremost experts, these interviews pushed the conversation forward. This year was about rethinking what’s possible.
Voices That Changed the Conversation
Some of our most impactful content this year came from medical experts willing to question the status quo.
Interviews such as “Is Cancer a Metabolic Disease?” with Dr. Thomas Seyfried, a Boston College professor of biology, genetics, and biochemistry who has spent decades researching cancer metabolism and questioning the long-held belief that cancer is primarily a genetic disease—introduced readers to a very different way of thinking about cancer at the cellular level.
Other standout interviews included:
- Dr. Linda Isaacs – Part 2 with insights on personalized nutrition, detox strategies, and enzyme support. Dr. Isaacs worked with the legendary Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez before his untimely death.
- Dr. Guerry Grune, CTO and founder of Third Rock Essentials, developer of some of the safest sun blocking products on the market today. We talked about environmental exposures, sun health, and why the “just slap on sunscreen” advice isn’t nearly as simple as we’ve been led to believe.
- Dr. Tony Jimenez – Part 2 on the rise of cancer cases and integrative options. Dr. Tony as he is affectionately known, is Chief Medical Officer of the Hope4Cancer Treatment Centers.
Stories of Survival — and Strength
Equally powerful were the survivor stories shared throughout the year, offering real hope and lived experience:
- Earnest Best — diagnosed with aggressive bladder cancer and given 6–12 months to live, he chose to follow the Tippens protocol and make use of OTC fenbendazole.
- Tom Miller – Part 3 — shares how nutrient-rich living and consistency have kept him thriving deadly pancreatic cancer for many years.
Articles That Sparked Thought — and Action
Several articles stood out for shining a light on topics many readers had never encountered before:
- “The Surprising Cancer-Fighting Secret Hiding in Your Holiday Meal” explored how compounds like D-mannose may interfere with cancer cell metabolism.
- “Nine Meaningful Ways to Support Someone Going Through Cancer This Holiday Season” offered compassionate, practical guidance for caregivers.
- “Turning the Cell’s Alarm Off: How Stress Signals Drive Cancer & How to Reset Them Naturally” reminded readers that stress is not your friend and why it is so important to reduce your daily stressors before they take a deeper toll.
Our ongoing Cancer News and Health Tips sections also tackled timely topics—from environmental risks to lifestyle influences—helping readers stay informed without feeling overwhelmed.

Staying Connected
Many of the most meaningful conversations don’t stop at the article or interview. They continue in our community.
We regularly share new research, interviews, timely updates, and encouragement on our Templeton Wellness Foundation Facebook page, where readers can stay informed, ask questions, and connect with others navigating similar journeys.

Looking Ahead
As someone who’s lived with cancer for decades, I’ve learned to be cautious of easy answers. If the past year taught us anything, it’s this: readers are ready for a more open, curious, and compassionate dialogue about cancer and healing.
Whether you joined us through an expert interview, a survivor story, or a deep dive into one of our articles—thank you for being part of this community. We look forward to continuing these conversations in the year ahead.
