It’s not always about the pizza toppings — sometimes the devil is in the crust.
Lab tests conducted by the non-profit organization GMO Free USA through Health Research Institute Laboratories, concluded that the pizza crust for Papa John’s pizza tested the highest among three chains in terms of its glyphosate residue levels. Glyphosate was named as a “probable human carcinogen” by the World Health Organization.
Second on the list was the national brand Dominos, with Pizza Hut coming in third.
